David Simon David Simon, Senior Advisor to SCCOG and the Los Angeles Sports Council, has spent a significant part of his career in the world of Olympic sports, including past service as Vice President of the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, Chair of the USOC International Relations Committee, Chair of USA Badminton and President of two Los Angeles Olympic Bids. He is a past President of SCCOG.
Among his current affiliations he is Vice President of the World Union of Olympic Cities and Co-Chair of CityAccord at the annual SportAccord Convention. He also has been part of successful bids for World Championships or World Cups for eight different Olympic sports: badminton, gymnastics, figure skating, soccer, baseball, modern pentathlon, track and field and beach volleyball. |
