Casey Wasserman

Casey Wasserman serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Wasserman Media Group, LLC (WMG). Since forming WMG in 1998, Wasserman has steadily built the company into a powerhouse in the sports and entertainment world by integrating management, marketing and content businesses. Wasserman also became the youngest owner of a professional team when he purchased Arena Football League’s LA Avengers.

WMG Management handles top action sports talent, and specializes in high-profile endorsement and sponsorship strategies for its clients. WMG Marketing secures naming rights for popular sports and entertainment, and recently represented the historic deal between Arsenal, the Premier League champions, and Emirates Airlines. The Marketing group also develops programs for blue chip brands including Nestle, Campbell’s, T-Mobile and ESPN.

Through WMG Content, the company recently launched Studio411, a full-scale production studio with retail distribution and marketing services. Wasserman also entered into pact with CBS to introduce the Formula One to a domestic audience.

Extremely active at the Arena Football League, Wasserman was elected Chairman, and in 2002 he negotiated the league’s groundbreaking national television partnership with NBC and collective bargaining agreement with its players.

Wasserman also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Wasserman Foundation. He also serves as a board member of New York University, The William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library Foundation, Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Wasserman holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles.
